3. Schedule a meet and greet.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your requested dates. Bookings are not guaranteed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance must be paid in full before services begin. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Venmo or Zelle. I do not accept Checks.

A meet and greet is a 30-minute in-person visit held at the location where services will take place, typically at your home. During this visit we will have a chance to get to know each other, go over the details of your booking, and ensure a good fit for everyone involved.

If you’re booking dog walking services, we can also do a brief trial walk (about 10 minutes) to see how your dog and I work together. We’ll also discuss their usual walking habits and preferred route.

For drop-in visits, you’ll have the opportunity to walk me through your typical routine so I can replicate it as closely as possible while caring for your pets and your home.

Meet and greets are free of charge. If your pet needs more time to warm up, we will schedule additional visits, these will be charged as drop-in visits after the initial meet and greet.

Cancellations submitted 14+ days before the service start date: Full refund.

8–13 days: 50% refund.

0–7 days: No refund.

In the rare event Elly’s Happy Hounds must cancel, a full refund will be issued, and assistance finding alternate care will be offered.

In cases of extreme heat, wildfires, storms, or other hazardous conditions, outdoor services may be replaced with indoor enrichment or a drop-in visit at no extra charge.

Service times may be adjusted for sitter safety; communication will be provided.
